BGEE Original Companion Refresh v1.1 (Based on BGEE 2.5)

New in v1.1
-Minsc, Jaheira, Edwin and Viconia have their BG2 attributes
-all other characters have similar BG2-style improvements (2-3points added to their total) to make them more competent and/or realistic from a roleplaying perspective (for example, Yeslick, who designed the water plug sealing the Cloakwood mines, now has INT 10 rather than 7, giving him the ability to read scrolls)
-Weapon proficiencies are more balanced and character-appropriate
-More appropriate starting spell selection for mages
-Fixed some silly starting equipment

The aim of this mod is to freshen up gameplay, add some degree of tactical variation and ensure no character is "disposable" as in the original game. This is done by the following means:
-Giving each companion a unique class to achieve minimal redundancy. There is for example only one vanilla single-class thief in this mod. All classes/kits have been carefully selected, even if some are less obvious than others (e.g. Tiax the Thief/Illusionist, a perfect class for a worshiper of Cyric if you know your lore).
-Slightly increasing their attributes (2-3 points total per character, as was done by the original developers for BG2) to make them more competent and/or realistic from a role-playing perspective. Note that Minsc, Jaheira, Edwin and Viconia now have their BG2 stats.
-Rebalancing proficiency points and skills in a sensible and role-playing friendly way. Weapon choices are more balanced by availability and damage type while still in character.
-All characters are at their lowest level when you find them. Their XP varies with the main character's level. (Not sure when this is determined, might be when you enter the area they are in.) This means that at higher levels, you will be able to level them up instantly after recruiting. Consider this the result of a brief training with a high-level Bhaalspawn. Especially at higher levels (5-6+), companions have more XP than in the original game, to prevent them from lagging too much behind the rest of the party.

Some NPCs have entirely new classes:
-Minsc is now a Berserker. If you played NWN2-MotB and visited the Rashemi berserkers you will understand why the developers originally chose to make Minsc a Ranger, as the Rashemi berserkers are woodsmen. Luckily Beamdog made the actual Berserker kit available for BG1!
-Montaron is now a pure thief, specifically a Bounty Hunter.
-Skie is now a Jester. Note that Eldoth is now a Blade and thus has his Pickpocket skill and Bard Song reduced. Of course the Jester song does not make up for the latter. ;)
-Dynaheir is now a Sorcerer.
-Tiax is now a Thief/Illusionist. He may be a worshiper of Cyric, that does not make him a Cleric. Clearly he lacks the Wisdom. Besides, Cyric is the god of lies, trickery and illusion.
-Xan is now a Fighter/Mage. The Moonblade has been restored to Long Sword and uses the appropriate proficiency. The description still says Daggers. This can be changed in the dialog.tlk file, but I did not want to mess with your file as this can get really messy when using multiple mods.

Installation
-Simply copy contents of the included override folder into the override folder in your game directory. Start a new game if you want to use the new NPCs.
-You can also add individual characters by copying only the relevant files. If you do this for Xan, do not forget to also copy SW1H13.ITM, as this turns the Moonblade into the Long Sword it is supposed to be. (Do not mind the in-game description, it is read from the dialog.tlk file which I will not be touching. ;))

Hi @SMRT, love the idea, but I think something is missing. Are the override contents supposed to be here?
