Cavalier using the Cursed +3 sword

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Does the curse apply to Cavalier's. I have used Durlags Goblet with him and it doesn't. Just wondering if the same would apply to the Two-handed sword of Berserking +3. Thanks for any help

    Berserker and Fear are different states. I'm pretty sure it would affect the Cavalier and probably make him/her kill innocent people and lose his/her class.

    In a party it's easy enough to avoid killing innocents by using the NPCs as targets. It is possible to complete BG1 only using the sword even solo (though you need a bit of luck at the Palace), but you do have to be very careful about avoiding hostilities in places where innocents are hanging around.

    Ok thanks , I have Spiders Bane too just wanted to see if it would be wise to use the other is all

    In Durlag's Tower you can find a non-cursed Two-handed Sword +3 (World's Edge)
