[Darkness Over Daggerford] Question about the quest "Peredus the Great"

Question 1:
Is there any posibility to swin across the Pool of Water? The black dragon Sulfurus has mentioned there is another domain across the pool, then why every time I interacts with the Pool always result in failure. If there is noway to across, then why should there is a option for confusion, it dosn't make any sense.







Question 2:
When I finish the quest and return to the well, why the guy Burnas Tellrot, who leads me here saying would take the Peredus's sword, is disappeared. Then I come back to Happy Cow Tavern, there is a woman named Dalia instead babbles about this Burnas guy, interact with her don't yield any information further. Is this the end of the sequence or I may meet this Burnas guy again in the future game?






If anyone has any leads for those question of mine, please tip me for those valuable information. Beside I am not some kind of walkthrough guy, and just someone wouldn't like to miss anything. Thanks for reading.
