Hostile Thieves Guild

I entered the thieves guild for the first time since entering the city, with my evil fighter thief protagonist and there was no dialogue or anything, they all just went hostile on me. I talked to Niklos already. Did I do something wrong here?
UPDATE: I charmed one of the thieves and he asked me for the password, i answered correctly and everyone is still hostile. Not sure what to do
