Can't install SoA

So I was digging through some old disc's and found Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. As you might think, this made me happy and excited to play. Then I realized my new laptop doesn't even have a CD drive. Any idea's on if this is downloadable somewhere with my existing CD key, or do I need to buy a digital copy somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Do you mean you have old vanilla BG2, not BG2:EE? If that is the case, you can't "upgrade" to BG2:EE, as that is a separate product.

Thank you both. Yes, the "old vanilla BG2" is what I have. It sounds like I need to purchase the EE version to get this going then? Thanks again!
