Thoughts on my new party?

For my next play through I want to challenge myself a bit (nothing too serious at all). Wanted to hear thoughts:

Planning on doing an Insane SCS run with only 4 party members. I will also be using the icewind dale spells mod. This will be an evil playthrough

Party will be:

Main char - Avenger
Edwin
Viconia - EEKeepered into cleric/thief
Korgan / Evil fighter.

Speaking of which, who is the strongest evil fighter in bg1?

Curious to hear thoughts!

    It depends.
    • Kagain is the best NPC tank in the game with that 20 Constitution.
    • Dorn is the best evil NPC damage dealer with that 19 Strength. Even though he ends up with pips in crossbows in BG2EE, I built him for slings in BG1 to get the strength bonus involved in his missile attacks.
    • Shar-Teel is great if you want to dual class to a thief.
    • If you'd rather have a multi-class thief, then you've got to go with Montaron.

    Dualled shar-teel is awesome. Can't beat that backstab damage.
