    But that's not a fight by any stretch of the imagination. How can it count as a phase?

    I said Abazigal, but I agree on the chess board in Durlag's Tower. I was playing it blind, for the first time, doing a "Charname death only" minimal reload run, got transported there unprepared, had my party scattered due to a horror spell, and hell broke loose with all the lightning. My Undead Hunter Paladin barely survived the fight with a lot of potions and kiting, all 5 party members dead (but at least not chunked).
    I don't think I'll go to that dreadful tower if I try no reload.

    That chessboard can be cheesed with 6 potions of Absorption, but yeah, you'd need to know what was coming and plan accordingly. XD
