Bug/Mistake? - Marketh

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Hey, I was trying to find where to put bugs and suff and couldn't find it.

I discovered that if you trap kill Marketh in his room before talking to him, the "illusion" is never dispelled, he doesn't reappear, his clone has no loot, and you just can't progress any further
