Specialist mage, saving throws

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hello,

I have a question regarding specialist mages. They all have a special bonus which gives all enemies a -2 penalty to saving throws vs the chosen spell school.

Is this comulative with say other penalties such as greater malison for example? If an enchanter would cast Chaos — would that mean -6 to saves?

    Hey @MWO, yes it's cumulative! Definitely worth taking into account when deciding which spells to memorize for your Mages. Dynaheir has the most potent Webs, Xan Charms, Xzar Skull Traps etc.
