Lost weapon proficiency and I don't want to restart... I have come a long way

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
After using the Luck spell I have lost weapon proficiencies on all characters. I know I am missing short sword but there are 3 others I do not know what I lost. I know how to use EEKeeper but I see no way to add in missing weapon profs. Does anyone know a way to hack or fix this? I have too much invested in losing this all and I am really really upset. Surely someone reversed the Luck bug and can add in the missing skills?

    In EEKeeper:
    - open a saved game
    - switch at the top to proficiencies tab
    - highlight the weapon you want to add proficiency to
    - click on the plus button at the bottom of the screen to change the existing number
    - on the left of the screen use the scroll bar to select other characters and do the same with them

    If you've got saves from prior to the bug you can check proficiencies on those.
