Distinguishing Mod NPCs from Original NPCs

Hi,

Is there any way to tell from the Character File that an NPC is from a MOD or the original game?

    Only in a roundabout way. Just being present in the override folder isn't rnough, as some original npc's can get modded. But if you find the associated .CRE file in some oter sub-directory, thenit's most likely a non-original npc.

    As far as using scripting or something to analyze the file to make such a determination? I find that doubtful.

    I thought maybe there would be an "Origin" field, that would specify where the character/monster originated.
