The Transmuter Wizard: How do you deal with enemy magic resistance?

Hello,

So I've recently begun playing a transmuter wizard - I've always been fascinated by the utlity of alteration magic. I was wondering, however, how I would be able to deal with magic resistant enemies, e.g. dragons without the spell "Lower Resistance". Do you have any idea?

I'm playing with some of the SCS mods (moderate settings) so I get the somewhat more intelligent enemies.

    Let the rest of your party lead. They can dispel any buffs for you (SCS dragons really like to give themselves Improved Haste...) and then start physically attacking.
    If you want your mage to contribute, there's this neat little alteration spell called Polymorph Self...

    How about trying Spell Revisions? In Spell Revisions, Lower Resistance is an alteration spell.
