EEKeeper and Golden Pantaloons

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi all,

I have a weird bug with EEKeeper: when I add the golden pantaloons to a BG2EE character's inventory, the character window crashes when I try to save it and the saving fails. I haven't encountered this issue with any other material or with BGEE characters. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a way to resolve it?
My game is the original one (no mod) and I use the latest version of EEKeeper.
The issue is not dramatic per se (I can create a character in BGEE and export it) but it annoys me when something doesn't work he way it should :D
