Forum layout issue: copyright/trademark notice blocks sidebar links

This is something that has been bugging me for a while, as I regularly use the links in the sidebar to navigate the forums. On any given page, the copyright/trademark notice below the content overlaps with the sidebar and makes it impossible to click on whichever link is unfortunate enough to be covered by the text. Which links are affected varies widely, as it depends on how much content there is on a page.

For example, in this shot of the Site Resources forum, the link to the Italian-language BGEE forum is blocked by the copyright/trademark notice. I've highlighted the notice for visibility; this has no effect on the link-blocking behavior.

Can the forum's layout be adjusted slightly to remove the overlap and clear this up?
