Is crossplay really working?

I'm on Xbox, but since I've bought the game, I only see the persistent servers and maybe two or three from people. I doubt that, with crossplay, that's all the servers available

It's probably working as intended. You bought the console version so you only see two persistent worlds, Arelith and Ravenloft. A persistent world is a server like any other that does not go offline when the host leaves but it's still essentially a server. If the others aren't running an official campaign you probably wont see it.

Depending on time of day and maybe update version your options will be restricted. As of right now on PC I can see only 11 modules with a standard title such as "Chapter One", "Chapter Two", and so on. If you think it's broken, for example you know your friend is only hosting a standard game and you can't find them, then you should contact support. That said of the 11 standard campaigns in multiplayer I see now only a few aren't password protected.

I haven't see the console version, can you direct connect to IPs of servers? Might be a manual way to join them that are not listed for the console.
