Continual Flame Exploit

Is there a workaround for the price increase on items with continual flame cast on them? I'm running a low gold/low magic PW where crafting is a major part of getting good equipment. You can buy it but it's expensive. The continual flame exploit is breaking this balance :(

    I vaguely recall that someone made it so that the spell would flag items it is cast on as stolen or something so they could not be sold or some such. Maybe you could try something like that?

    Remove it from the spell selection on level up and do not sell them in stores or have them drop on creatures/treasure placeables.
