Trouble with frame rate

Hoping somebody can help me out. Got a buddy to buy BGEE so we could play some MP together. Took some time but finally got a connection to work. The trouble is that I've been playing at frame rate 60 for a long time now, but had to switch to 30 in order to play with my friend. Every time I'd change his frame rate to 60 in the baldur.lua file it would switch back to 30 for no apparent reason. Does anybody have any idea what's happening? I can switch the rate on my computer from 30 to 60 at will with no issues...

My guess is that his game was still open when you changed the file. The LUA file is automatically updated for a number of things to match an existing game (like the name of the multiplayer session for example) - and the frame rate is part of that process.

Or your Antivirus/Firewall is blocking changes to baldur.lua, or it's set to read-only.
