how many spells can mage use baldur gate til the end?

Im looking for flesh to stone spell? Does this game have that spell? And how many spell lvl can a mage aquire?

    This replaces very wrong information from a dumb head.

    I think single class mages can hit level 5 spells before going into Siege of Dragonspear.

    Wizard scrolls of level greater than 5 are unavailable in BG1, and only some of the level 5 scrolls are available. Flesh to Stone is level 6.

    The counterpart Stone to Flesh is not available in its level 6 arcane form, but temples sell plenty of scrolls that anyone can use, and there are a number of petrified people you can restore with them.

    Spell slots ... at the BG1 cap, here are the number of slots mages can get at the BGEE cap of 161000 XP:

    Specialist mage, level 9: 5/4/4/3/2 slots. 5 level 1 spells per day, 2 level 5 spells per day, and so on.
    Generalist mage, level 9: 4/3/3/2/1 slots.
    Multiclass gnome illusionist, level 7: 5/4/3/2 slots.
    Multiclass mage, level 7: 4/3/2/1 slots.
    Triple-class mage, level 6: 4/2/2 slots.
    Sorcerer, level 9: 6/6/6/4 slots with 5/4/3/2 spells known.
    Dragon disciple, level 9: 5/5/5/3 slots with 5/4/3/2 spells known.
    Bard, level 10: 3/3/2/1 slots.
