    Version 26 also comes with a new component by Angel!
    Thank you very much to Angel for providing this component. Now the legacy speer quest reward for Kivan makes more sense if Kivan can have weapon pips in spears instead of halberd in BG:EE!

    Description from the readme:
    The BG1 NPC Project: Kivan's Proficiency

    This component will give a choice to alter Kivan's weapon proficiency pips to either halberds or spears. This is interesting insofar, as the quest item Kivan receives from Thalatyr is a spear, whereas he comes with pips in halberd in BG:EE.

    Option one: Kivan uses spears. This option will give Kivan 2 pips in spears, and also replace two halberds in teh game with spears (one in the cave in Dryad Falls, another in the Cloakwood Mines level 3.

    Option two: Kivan uses halberds. This option will give Kivan 2 pips in halberds.

    The mod updates to v27! There should be no symbols left so hopefully the "EE doesn't start" glitch will be solved.

    Changelog:

    Corrected install order syntax for compatibility with Framed Mod in bg1npc.ini.
    Corrected all apostrophes so EEs will not choke on symbols.
    Removed wrong references in custom areas so browsing the files will not give confusing results.
    Added globally unqie LABELs to support Project Infinity.

    Posting this here again in the Bug Report Section instead of making an own Thread for it.

    I don't know if that Conversations is from BG1NPC Project or from Corans Extended Friendship Talk Mod but every time Coran fires up the Conversation about him wearing Lady Shoes during a certain Conversation Section regardless what answer i give him my entire Game crashes. Which of these Mods is that? In the Conversation you can mention to him that you really would like to meet his friend "Helg".

    Only way i solved it was to shut Coran up early in the Banter. I try to include a Screenshot. That is my Weidu Installation.

    I hope someone can help.

    That's from the Coran mod, but I've never had it crash on me. I usually pick option 1 during that conversation.

    @Wise_Grimwald he gives the ring for PC with CHA lower than 17 and Jaheira not in party. This didn't change.

    Due to difference in scripting between the games, BG1NPC currently bugs out on EE for the events in the Lion's Way area if Xzar and Montaron never joined the party.

    Either take them in the party before chapter 3 (doesn't have to be for long) or see here for a workaround by editing the area script.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to include the old "NPCs Wait at Inns" module with the most recent version of the NPC Project?

    (And no, unlike what the readme states, this module actually has not been included in Tweaks.)

    It is, as component 1075 (Send BioWare NPCs to an Inn).

    @Thels I know what you mean and I am really sorry the original component from BG1NPC wasn't included into TA yet. It's on my list but I am swamped with things either more important to me or RL.

    @GraionDilach BG1NPC offered a more personal approach that considered the NPCs' character more (e.g. Viconia not going into too public places etc.). The component from TA is more "mechanical" with all NPCs going to all available inns.

    If anyone feels like implementing the old BG1NPC approach as an alternative to the existing TA component, be our guest.

    I was curious if there somehow was a way to install just that component from an earlier version of this mod, though I assume the mandatory components would screw things up?

    The component numbers changed, too (link if you are interested in details). So an experiment of "install current main component, then NPC To Inn component of older mod package" would likely not only be highly messy, but could also fail because of that.

    BG1NPC updates to v29!

    The new version comes with the restored component "NPCs Can Be Sent to Wait in an Inn"" which was removed for v24. Note that the component is not throroughly tested on all EE games for v2.6. V29 also has several fixes and improvements. It also fixes the install error from v28 for the German version.

    Thanks to @Thels for being persistent about the Wait at Inn component! :)

    Changelog:

    - Reinserted the component "NPCs Can Be Sent to Wait in an Inn" which was removed for v24.
    - Fixed install error for some languages (missing new text line added).
    - Kivan's lines revised, by Belryll.
    - Romances: "Do not flirt with me anymore" will only disable the repetitive NPC initiated flirts. Not any PID options. Not the individual flirty dialogues. Romances without any repetitive flirts should not have this dialogue option.
    - Fixed reference to PC's class in one of Coran's lovetalks.
    - Fixed dlg reference in Xan-Alora banter (Alora should say her line).
    - Fixed reference to PC for quest character in Kivan's encounter.
    - Fixed spell level for spwi401 in nythrun_fixes.tpa.

    There seems to be a second "Send to Inn" component for Ajantis specifically:

    This image appears if you removed Ajantis from the party at an earlier time, and then return to him to talk to him.

    So it seems like the NPC Project (probably the romance mod?) already has a built in send to inn feature included for him. No other NPC had this.

    Unrelated, the Azlaer's Harp, Harp of Discord and Methlid's Harp (from the 3 bards at Peldvale) can be used by Bards, Blades, Jesters, Skalds and Barbarians. Are Barbarians intended to be able to use those harps?

    Yes, I remember inserting a romance specific kickout line because the standard one didn't seem to be fitting. This only shows in romance case.

    There seems to be an issue with Faldorn's quest.

    When I initially talk to Amarande with Faldorn in the party, they tell me to go and clear the mines. No journal message is added (which could be working as intended).

    When I clear out the mines, and then return to Amarande, I get the dialogue again where he wants me to clear the mines:

    Checking Amaran.DLG, there seems to be a check if FLOODED is set to 1 or 2. However, in my game, FLOODED is set to 3. If I force FLOODED to be 1 or 2, it does work. It also works if I change State trigger 1 for Amaran.DLG to also include Flooded=3.

    However, another bug then creeps up, that I ran into during an earlier playthrough as well. If I keep talking to Amarande, he gives the quest a second time, and then I can complete it a second time, getting a second copy of the reward. After that, the loop stops. I cannot start the quest a third time.

    Unrelated, Imanel Silversword's Longsword +1 comes pre-identified.

    For the Xan encounter at the North Nashkel Road, David mentions that all assistants look differently, but they do not. I thought it was due to the Drab Color component of Tweaks Anthology, but according to Camdawg, that was not the case. Would it be possible to give them more distinct colors from one another? According to Camdawg, they all have unique color combinations, if you include the hair color, but their hair is practically invisible.

    I did find a small issue with the "Send to Inn" component. When sending both Khalid and Jaheira to the Elfsong Tavern, they're standing on the exact same spot, inside each other (on the second floor).

    Needs more info, like a weidu.log and your game progression.

    Keep in mind that even if you use Tweaks Anthology's "expose Cloakwood early" tweaks, the mines will not be exposed until you beat the bandit camp.

    BG1NPC has no component to open up Cloakwood since v24. This is not related to BG1NPC or you are using an outdated version.
