General Description of Classes only refers to "She/Her"?

I selected a male character in the Character Creation screen previously. Why does the general class-category description say "she and her" and not "he and his" (in the case of the Male gender already having been selected)??

Lol you got flagged too (more legacy of Bhaal-den). I'm just curious whose idea it was to do that and why. I cannot be the first person to have noticed it, so surprised (as far as I know) no one has mentioned it.

I doubt it's anything to do with Biden actually. Without going back to look at the various classes to see if it's the same for all of them, 3rd Ed (which came out in 2000) in general had a habit of using female pronouns as the default. So NWN was just following the conventions set by WotC.

D&D has always from the beginning used she and her pronouns in general. And yes it was intentional to seperate itself from other games, boardgames, wargames that use he and him in general.

I wonder what TSR's default with pronouns was in the 70s/80s.
