    Ah ok Thank you!
    I just really really like his old Portrait cause it portraits him as daring, young and confident. The new Portrait is nice but the Proportions and the Ricasso of the Sword shows him using a Zweihänder. I typically play him as a Warden and think his old Portrait fits his Bastard Sword Proficency a bit better. In my opinion the New Portrait really fits his Barbarian Class nicely.

    This is interesting. I created Kayle's new portrait with the image of a two-handed sword-wielding barbarian in mind. I admit that his old portrait might better suit for the Warden class.

    Kale's alignment isn't listed on the first page but is on his page. (Unimportant?)

    Thanks, I corrected them all.

    I'll have to re-add the allowance of ignoring .php again so the links don't break in other places.

    Could Kale get another ability in BG2? Perhaps something like a short
    quickness or something like that.

    Anyway, in his quest I can not find that guy who I thought was responsible
    for the killings. Could the hints be made to reveal a few more infos, e. g.
    which house or area the guy can be found after he has not showed up
    at a certain meeting place? Right now I am at a loss in which area he is.

    Should be a map marker in the Bridge District that designates it, if you have gotten that far.

    The Warden version of Kale that spawns in SoD seems to be bugged. He still has an undroppable bastard sword and his THAC0 is 20 despite being level 8. Happens when starting a new game in SoD or if you didn't have him in the party in BGEE.

    Also, when I was testing by jumping to Gullykin at the start of a game (because I noticed the bug last time I played and I wanted to check ahead of time), I saw that his PID dialogue seems to be the SoD version. Playing on EET. Don't know if this is an issue with the dialogue file itself or just variable checks.

    Ah, it's variable checks. As I'm learning EET seems to combine the SoD dialogue with the BG1 one, so I have to code it differently.

    I'll fix that and the CRE file next week, just five days left for my Master's Program first.

    Good luck with your master's program! In the meantime I'll poke around and see if I can manually set some variables so I don't have to wait and reinstall everything, lol.

    Hi, I am enjoying this companion a lot, thank you. When I go to the Temple Of Illmater as per his starting quest, the priest there will not talk to me. Is this bugged for me for his quest and is there a workaround you might know of to let me progress?

    Oh oops, my bad!

    And yes I did, just nothing happens so I guess it's bugged for me. I have some other NPC mods and the BG tweaks mod so I don't know if there's some conflict. The other companions from Skittia seem to be working fine in my playthrough though.

    If they modify the priest, it's possible. As long as Kale is valid for dialogue and the quest is at Global("X3KalQuest","GLOBAL",0), it should be able to have the dialogue. (If Kale is not in the area, then it won't fire.)

    Kale v1.68 Update:

    The first of a monthly release of updates for my content to push all the work I have been doing. This month updates Kale's BG1 content. A different month will update his SoD content, and after that, the focus will be on creating a merge version of the NPCs after all of their BG1 content and SoD content updates have been released. The individual versions will still exist and be supported for bugs but not see any further content updates after the last SoD update is pushed.

    New Content Includes:
    Finch Crossmod.
    Isaac Crossmod (Once Emily BG1 is updated.)
    Many new interaction lines.
    Expanded Player Interaction Banter.
    The BG2 approval system incorporated for BG1.
    Some spelling and bug fixes.
    And honestly, a lot of other changes I forgot to document.

    If there are any issues, please post in the Kale BG1 thread on Beamdog and I will try to work through them.

    Next month's update will likely focus on Recorder, pending new voice lines. Otherwise, I will be updating Helga next month.

    Thanks for all your work and the effort you put into your mods! :)

    Just a small question, maybe for one of the later updates of Kale;

    Would you consider to implement a check during setup for Lava's "Of Path and Ways" Kitpack, to make Kale a 3-Foot-Tall-Fury?
    Like you do with Emily and the Arcane Archer of Artisans Kitpack?

    I think it might also be missing some content in the "Spells" folder, those related to the warden kit.

    Thanks, this is fixed in v1.70 There was quite a bit of changes I did in 2022/2023 to his Kale kit that I seemed to have never uploaded like I thought I did.

    Hi, I think that's the last one : I think there's a mix-up between the crossmod for Sirene and Finch.

    Both COMPILE Sirene.d, both use @503 (which is the string for Sirene)
    And @503 appears twice in the tra file (but the first is about Sirene and the second about Finch).

    Thanks, I have corrected this to load the Finch dialogue in versions 1.71

    I've also added the 3-Foot-Tall-Fury Kit as an option if you have Lava's Of Paths and Ways installed.
