Mods on steam deck?

Just curious if anyone has figured out how this can be done yet. Loading the mod .exe's via wine doesn't work, and neither does running it directly from the steam runtime. These two methods usually run almost any windows program.

If you know how, please point me to the way.

I don't know what you're trying to install on which game (or what the issue you're having is) and have little experience modding IE games from Steam, but here's my two cents:

Do you have enabled "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" for the specific game you're trying to mod? If you don't, chances are you have the native Linux version for your game, which is a pain in the neck to mod due to them being case-sensitive.

    OR

You could use the latest native WeiDU installer from here and rename it to setup-<name-of-the-.tp2-file>.

One last thing, perhaps the mods you're installing didn't take into account this case-sensitive issue, so to guarantee maximum compatibility I heavily lean towards my former suggestion.

Hope I could be of help :p
