If it's the latter i'll install BGEESpawn if it still works
That INI setting I added to BGEESpawn was provided explicitly for people who want more enemies, because that allows stacking of these mods pretty much (BGTSpawn can also stack with BGEESpawn but my proposal to include that INI setting there was rejected, so BGTSpawn as-is hardcoded to always disable the default spawn points and thereby disable the effect of jmerry's tweak, regardless if BGEESpawn was installed in it's stacking setup).
IIRC the EasyTutu setup spawns more enemies in that one but it's been a while.
Unlike the jmerry tweak (or BG Enemy Randomizer), both BGEESpawn by default and BGTSpawn disables the spawn points in favor for invisible undetectable traps spawning the enemy groups, which is why they are theoretically (and for BGSpawn, practically) stackable and they are entirely different systems underneath.
The question of if playing a 4ppl party with the component #44 installed is generally identical to playing a 6ppl party without it.
Close. At Insane difficulty, that component scales up spawn numbers by 50% - both the difficulty and cap parameters. So spawn points that don't run into the cap like ankhegs at the farm would be the same between the two parties, while spawns that do run into the cap like the Gnoll Fortress would be bigger with my component (6 gnolls/xvarts per spawn point instead of 4).
@GraionDilach@jmerry Thanks guys! Really solid mods! i have already installed BGEESpawn and it's working great so far, i really wanted to install jmerry's mod but i guess it will wait until bg2 or the next bg1, solo run with the multiplier of 600% 😱💀
The thing about SCS is that it completely redoes Liia's spellcasting already; she gets a new memorization list and a new combat script fitted to that. Makes my version of things basically irrelevant.
If you install my component before SCS, it should cause the SCS mage components to skip her; the SoD script I give her isn't one of the ones SCS looks to replace.
If you install my component after SCS, you get her SCS spell memorization and that SoD script. Which should still be functional, but is probably generally less effective than just letting SCS do its thing.
I wouldn't bother with the component myself if it's an SCS install. That component is meant for vanilla, and the version of Liia that has spells up to level 8 memorized but doesn't know how to cast anything above level 2.
Thanks for the replies. I am going to start again because if my character dies I just can't make myself continue with the run. The thing is I want to make sure it doesn't happen again next time around. So it sounds like the best thing to do would be to install this Tweak Collection before SCS because if I leave SCS as it stands Liia Jannath is just going to slaughter my party, Grand Duke Belt, a bunch of Flaming Fist and all the noblemen in the room with a Cone of Cold (or possibly two Cones of Cold launched from a sequencer judging by the amount of damage she is doing).
That screenshot is definitely at least two Cones of Cold ... let's see ... there's a triple Cone of Cold spell trigger, and the script for using it doesn't check for allies (in the v34 files I have lying around, and also in the latest version on Github). SCS scripting for mages that are allied to the party often isn't very good.
This is clearly fixable; the spell trigger right below it in the file for Sunfire+Cone of Cold+Chain Lightning does check for allies of the caster.
But it's not two Cones of Cold. It's three. 48d4+48 cold damage, save for half. Even for someone that makes the save, it's 84 average damage. Survivable for a high-HP warrior or Belt if they make their saves and haven't taken much damage from the doppelgangers, definitely lethal for everyone else.
Three Cones of Cold? That really does feel like overkill on Liia Jannath's part. I guess she wants to get revenge for all the times she has died in the vanilla game where she can't cast anything useful and, if memory serves, ends up fighting the doppelgangers with a dagger.

I have only just discovered this mod but having just been killed by Liia Jannath and her atrocious spell casting https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/89627/killed-by-friendly-fire#latest I am keen to give it a try. Should I install it after SCS to prevent her new script from being overwritten?
