Finish the game with minimal party?

Finished this game 12 years ago. Had 5 party members. Now picking up the enhanced version.

Is it possible to finish this game with just Morte? Are there key progress elements those would require other heroes? Nevermind the missing lore/content that could be provided with the rest of the party...

    You can absolutely finish the game with just Morte. Or even leave him somewhere and finish it solo.
