The only components from SCS that I don't install after EET end are the icewind dale spells because they need to go before Trials of the lure master which I install before EET end.
Hello! First of all: Thanks for your amazing work, the UI is just looking fantastic
I have one question though: How do I import from a save file in the character creator of this UI? As far as I can find it just lets me choose the standard presets, I guess I must be missing something?
Also, a few days ago when I tried the UI first, I didn't have that issue, but now after the updates my topbar looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/sCY3ntR - the active glowy symbol seems to have some kind of issue. It's still animated, but not transparent anymore.
Hello, I have tried everything to make the NPC bar and the buff/effect symbols work with with my barebones EET install and nothing seems to work.
- Only EET installed with EEex , bubb's spell menu.
- Tried to remove the "only selected creature" option in the NPC bar options
Any ideas why these two features dont work?
I agree. My effects system doesn't work either. No effects that count as time appear next to the NPC (such as blindness, blessing, or stone armor). In general, it doesn't make sense. I want this system, but it doesn't work. Maybe it only works in BG2, but I'm playing the first part, and it doesn't work for the 1st part, so what should I do? For those who did not understand the system, as shown in this screenshot above the portraits

Maybe these features were disabled or removed in version 1?
It should work, it works for me. I don't know yet, why it does not work for you.
Hi Pecca, thank you for your amazing work. It seems many people are having issues with the buff symbols and the NPC bar not working. I'm happy to provide you with any info you need to resolve this bug.

I wonder why I can't even open this menu. Set the hotkey, have EEEX installed, but still not working on my side.
@ClawsTheOne:
Its possible this is an issue that came up between more recent version of EEex and Infinity UI. Check your console (the command window that EEex opens when you run InfinityLoader.exe) and see if you see these spamming messages: https://github.com/Bubb13/EEex/issues/88
@xiaoleiwen:
You can't open the EEex Options menu?
I've made an account on here just so i can say how amazing this UI mod you have made is. The only reason why i haven't download it yet is because it isn't fully integrated with SCS, but once that's taken care of this will easily be one of the best/must-have mods for BGEE of all time.
I also have one question and a suggestion:
1) Does this mod already work with the BG2 Radar Overlay mod? If not now, will they be compatible in a possible future?
2) The new skins look great, but i feel like there's one small thing that could vastly improve the "BG2 roots" one: the background for the "inventory squares" are a lot more visually messy in the BG2 Roots skin compared to the other ones:
Of course, this is only my subjective opinion, but i believe you welcome all kind of feedback all the same.

What version of EEex are you using that allows you to make the PC spell effects and the NPC bar work? I was using the latest version of EEex, version 0.11.0-alpha.

Oh I'm not actually playing yet sorry, just in the slow process of constructing a large EET install. Someone has mentioned something like this occurring: https://github.com/Bubb13/EEex/issues/88

You mentioned earlier "Check your console (the command window that EEex opens when you run InfinityLoader.exe)", I don't even see this command window when I run InfinityLoader.exe, so I'm not even sure what you're talking about really. But in any case, the user in the link you sent even confirms that this module isn't working.
It's really a shame, the PC effects feature is the one I wanted the most out of this mod and it's really disappointing that it's not working. Hopefully Pecca can fix it.

Thanks, but I will very likely not be handling any mod compatibility, nor any more changes to the visuals.
I tried the newest release IUI+ (1.16) with EEEx (0.11.0-alpha) on a clean BG1EE install on my Windows 10 Laptop and can confirm that the NPC bar now works for me:
But there is another problem:
As sone as I click on any of the NPC Bar icons (left or right click) the game crashes (with a short delay) to desktop with no error message .
That's strange, whenever I start BG with InfinityLoader.exe, it opens a Terminal window which logs what is going on, its a great way to notice and diagnose problems. If you Alt-tab back to the desktop when the game is running (after you start it with InfinityLoader.exe) you should see a terminal/console window somewhere which is EEex logging technical stuff live as it happens in game. It looks like Pecca might be onto the NPC Bar problem but a couple people above this post mentioned some crashes now if they click the NPC bar icons!

Try not using Modern UI and make sure the portraits are on the upper right?
Tried both and didn't work. Is there something I need to enable? Like the debug mod or cheat mod to see the buffs?
