@Pecca Hello, Mod Author, I'm a player from China. Thank you so much for your UI; it's truly amazing.
I have a problem now. I installed your UI a few months ago, and it was version 0.96 at that time. It made the game feel brand new. Recently, I saw there was a version update, so I installed the new version. However, the text on the character interface has gone blank. All other interfaces are working fine. I've tried several versions of 1.0+, but the issue persists. So, I reinstalled version 0.96, and everything works fine again.
I uninstalled the old version first and then installed the new one. I really can't figure out what went wrong. I'm reaching out to you to see if I made a mistake somewhere or if the old version wasn't completely removed. Thank you.

    先安装TROW的中文修正补丁,然后安装EE Fixpack(Alpha 3以上版本),最后再装最新版infinityUI++。步骤不能漏不能乱,否则就会出这个问题。

    这是现在的显示效果。很完美。

    Fantastic mod! Thank you!

I noticed some minor bugs in the inventory screen though. I'm on Linux and Steam, Polish version of BG2EE if that matters.

    - when I use single inventory view and I choose characters using 1-6 hotkeys, it changes the items grid view and the character paperdoll, but equipped items and stats stay the same. Clicking on the portraits works correctly.
    - when I use multi-character inventory mode (with lock character option enabled), I can't change characters with 1-6 hotkeys as well. It changes only the paperdoll and current items weight, everything else stays the same. Only clicking on character portrait works.

On spells screen and in normal game character switching works correctly with hotkeys.

I don't have any other mods installed.

This is a really important bug.

I'm sorry for Pecca that new things keep arising.

Guise, a question for this mod’s users—and I know this has already been discussed, but ain’t nobody got time to go over the whole thread again to hunt down this information LOL

What do I need to do for custom portraits to show you properly? Do I need to name them a certain way to differentiate them based on sex?

Merry Christmas everyone. Sorry for not working on it past months, hopefuly next year a window opens for it.

All custom portraits should display by default. If you add prefix #m or #f, the portrait should only show in the respective gender menu.

Not a bug unfortunatelly, but intentiously overriten behavior. To use multi-character inventory I needed to use 1-6 hotkeys, so the original behavior is not working correctly for those who use them.

How can I select the difficulty with SCS mod? in a new game and any time from the Gameplay menu? I noticed it is not supported in the UI, does this mean I still make the SCS choice or its still the standard difficulty options?

Hi, I tested the Quickslot in IWDEE and it works via the UI++ settings; it immediately shows me dropped items. However, when I enable the Quickslot button in BG1EE and drop an item, no Quickslot appears on the screen. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks for your help :)

Okay...while the quick collection button was enabled from the start in IWD1EE, I had to activate it in BG1EE...wishing everyone a happy New Year :)

Go to your special abilities button (the one where your HLA's appear) on the main gameplay interface and you will see a little SCS icon that will allow you to adjust everything from there.

I am experiencing the same crash to desktop without any errors. I have narrowed this mod down. With NPC bars on and the latest EEEX the game crashes in the Temple district whenever I won't to enter any of these temples there. Sometimes I can enter the temple but after that when chosing another temple the game crashes. I have tried the it even without any other mods just EEEx and Infinity UI on a fresh new install and it's exactly the same.

I have the latest master version of EEEX from github with the scaling module and effects module enabled with the latest version of infinity UI with all options installed and I don't have that problem. Just tested it with EET. I used the console to visit the temple district and visited every temple in the temple district with zero problems. What language are you using? What version of the game are you using?

Have the latest gog and steam version. Both versions crash. EET or just modded bg2 ee. Both crash. With other mods or just with those two. The crash doesn't happen with older eeex versions though

    I have got another question.
Don't you know how to make the features from SCS mod working?
Namely Revised resting and Revised inn rooms?
They don't seem to work with Infinity UI

They work with Infinity UI. Only problem is number of rations for resting are not shown.

Sorry, I'm not sure what would be causing the issue. I have about 100 mods installed and I've never had a problem with crashing in the temple district. I've used EEEX from the first iteration to the latest master version on github combined with the first version of Infinity UI all the way up to the current one. Trouveur is correct about the revised resting component in my experience. The only issue I have had with SCS is the thief skills increase in groups of 5 and The 9 new arcane spells/ 5 new divine spells component, which I think it may work now but I haven't tested it in a while. It's odd that people are having problems that I'm not having. Maybe it's related to the language being used or possible install order?

The only issue I currently have in my nearly 1000 hours of playing with Infinity UI is the garbled magical helmet pictures bug. I avoid the 2 components from SCS that gave me install problems which was no issue for me because they are unimportant to me. I've heard that some of the components from "Talents of Faerun" also have issues with infinity UI but I don't use that mod so I wouldn't know. So far I've tested Infinity UI with all of Lava and Acifer's mods, I've played through Icewind dale in EET and Neverwinter nights in EET. I've used Baldur's Gate graphics overhaul and a ton of smaller mods ranging from "Black Hearts" to "Trials of the Luremaster" in EET without issues.

Would you mind to send me your bg2 ee mod list (weidu log or maybe project infinty mod list)

My current installation is limited because it's being used for a mod that I'm working on. My current install of the game has DLC Merger, EEEX 11.0 alpha Master with magic bars, UI scaling, and Lshift creature options enabled. I'm using infinity UI 1.19 and EE fix pack alpha 3 with EET v14.1 and nothing else at the moment. It's also important to note that the latest version of SCS has some problems with EEfixpack alpha 3 and I've manually fixed them. If you want to use SCS with the least amount of problems then I would skip EEfixpack Alpha 3 or go to the EEfix pack forums and find out what problems it has and how to work around them. I'm sure David W will fix these incompatibilities with EE fix pack and Infinity UI at some point but until then I just avoid the two components from SCS regarding Infinity UI and manually fix the SCS issues with EE fix pack.

I've attached an old weidu log of my last stable installation of the game with a bunch of mods that I played through in hopes that it will help you even though newer versions of many of these mods have been released in the meantime. In this installation I installled DLC Merger and EE Fix pack on BG1 before installing everything else included in this weidu in the BG2 directory. I split the Icewind dale spell section of SCS from the core of the SCS installation to make it compatible with TOTLM. Also of note, Icewind Dale 2 doesn't work correctly at this point in time because it's beta. It's ok to install it with Icewind Dale 1 but I wouldn't take on the quest for Icewind Dale 2 if you choose to install it. This should give you a pretty good idea of what I install and how I order it. Normally EET Tweaks would go later in the mod list but I have personal reasons for installing it early regarding game balance. I had no problems with this install and I have no problems with my current install.

Probably a weird question, but - is there any way to install just the inventory modification from this UI? I personally enjoy the original main game screen with the bars on the left and right, but I would definitely enjoy the inventory management screen from this mod more.

This mod is brilliant it really revitalizes the who experience of playing baldur's gate. I'm actually at a frustrating crossroad where there are a few bugs that no matter what I do I haven't been able to fix, namely the UI Editing mode doesn't seem to have any effect on the ui and once changes are made, on the next loading screen they will revert back, namely the level up menu and the character portraits sliding off screen. Does anyone have a fix for this?
I've tried using nearinfinity and notepad++ to change the values in UI.MENU but even with the values changed they don't change

Also, I tried the Subrace mod once upon a time and it would seem the option is greyed out and unusable. I thought it had been compatible at some point but perhaps not?

This UI offers also the bars to the left and right.
