Latest console updates?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Just grabbed these on gog for $10 each and honestly enjoying the nostalgia enough I'm considering getting them on console too! After some research I have the following questions:

1) is there any reason to still hope for 2.6 on ps4 or switch?

2) between ps4 and switch is one less buggy than the other?

3) what version are the consoles on and what major improvements from later updates they're missing?

    Hi! I'm glad you're enjoying the games on PC. Unfortunately, the console version has not received an update in many years. We don't have any new info about that, any console-related patch work is still TBD.

    I think all our console ports (Xbox, PS, Switch) got reviewed quite well, with no outliers, so PS4 and Switch should be about the same (in quality).

    Thank you for the information! It was a bit hard to tell which platforms were possibly still getting updated. Hopefully the console version isn't permanently at 2.5. I'll focus on playing the pc versions for now. Cheers!
