Enhanced BG:EE

Hello. I haven't played BG for many years, at least 5.
I want to play with as few of mods as possible, but get a great experience.
Would you say I should just play BG:EE "out-of-the-box" or are there mods that I absolutely MUST use for a better game experience, i.g. like Widescreen or 1PP used to be.

    I'd recommend SCS, when it's finalized. It'll make things more challenging (in a good way).

    But for the raw experience, out-of-the-box is probably plenty good. Don't go for the content mods until you've experienced Rasaad, Neera, and Dorn with all their exciting plots.

    FYI, the functionalities of both Widescreen and 1PP are included in BG:EE.
