For those aussie players, (assuming 1pm release time is accurate on 28/11), we get the game at 7am on Thursday 29/12

Would be a pretty strange business decision if it were otherwise. :)

Yes, you just will not get to pre-download, so you will be fighting servers with those who also did not pre-order. :)

So 7 or 8 pm in Europe, depending on where you live. Okay. I'd rather have it a little earlier in the day. But I'm really sorry for Australia and Japan.

    1pm MDT = 10pm GMT+2

Time for some late-at-night monkeying around.

I live in Denmark. I think you have to take daylight saving hours into consideration... Where I live, now that we're on "winter time", it'll be 10pm (22:00).
If it had been in the summer, it would have been one hour earlier.

Made a countdown timer for those interested: http://tinyurl.com/cbcb5y9

I apologize for using the URL shortener, but it was a butt-ugly mess of ampersands and gibberish without it :P

Ah, you're right of course. But why is Canada still on Daylight time, then? I'm very confused. Especially by those weird American timezone designations. 10 pm is... late :/

    Ehrm.. You're right of course.
I didn't take into account that they may be on daylight savings time in Canada too... I feel slighty embarrassed now...

Taking a look at the countdown @Ravel provided a couple of posts above, there's actually 8 hours between Denmark and Canada (Edmonton) time...

That means that I was wrong, and it'll be released at 21:00 (9pm) here.

Unless, of course, I'm too tired to make proper sense out of it right now, as it's almost 2 in the morning here, and I just came home after a 9 hour shift at work.. :-)

Sweet. That adds up to 21:00 Central European Time. Looks like I'm pulling an all nighter.

Not all of Canada has Daylight Savings, which doesn't help with the confusion. Edmonton does. It's 5 pm there right now. n.n
    OMG. But thanks :)

So 2:00 PM for me. I can play from 2:00 to 7:00 before I have other things to do.

This is acceptable, but it would be far more acceptable to release it at midnight.

Well, I was going to be upset that I couldn't get at the game till late evening - then I remembered, I'm out gaming that night anyway (WFB, for those that know it). I'll have to remember to bring home munchies and some beers.

Then I'll be rollin stats till everyone else wakes up quite likely. Looking forward to it immensely. :)
