What the eff does this mean?

The Beamdog "client" never worked for (it remains permanently stuck on "Getting Download Info..."). I downloaded the game via the Beamdog torrent found in another "support" thread.

Trying to run baldur.exe results in this error message:

> You have signed out of BeamDog Player. Please sign in and try again.

> Application Corrupted.

Wtf? I am currently signed into the Beamdog installer/client/whatever-the-hell-it-is-supposed-to-be and the website. Via Google I found other people running into this problem, but no solutions.

Any help? At all?

@nathan @TrentOster @PhilipDaigle Attempting to download and install this game over the last day has been a perfectly rancid experience. You have my twenty bucks. I do not have your product.

I have the same problem. I can run the game from the .exe file if I run Beamdog, then close it and finally run the .exe. Don't know why it works, because Beamdog is not running any more, but it does. The problem remains, anyway.
