Clicking any forum topic from a google search result gets a warning from Firefox

Try it:

https://www.google.com/search?q=site:forum.baldursgate.com

It has to be a forum topic. A forum or other webpage works fine.

It works fine for me, but have you tried removing the "s" from "https"?

I wouldn't know, since I've made an exception for this url, but that seems beside the point. The security certificate doesn't match.
