cursor disappears

sometimes when i pickup item to move/equip/drop the item and my cursor disappears, the game doesn't crash in anyway and i can still click things and play i just cant see my cursor anymore. the only thing i can do to fix this is quicksave and restart, but after maybe 3 hours of game time and a 1000 restarts its really getting old. is anyone else having this problem? can something be done about it? because right now i feel really ripped off for buying an enhanced version of a game that has a bigger bug then the original ever had,

    Go to Options -> Graphics and turn off the hardware cursor.

    If you do not see that option, update your game by starting your launcher (bgee.exe, not baldur.exe) or Beamdog client. It should detect a newer version and allow you to "Apply Update."
