It's amazing how many people are attempting to find ways to justify the murder of a good aligned drow that is well known in the forgotten realms. There are few that don't know of him and his scimitars should be a dead giveaway. You know you just want the awesome loot in the end. :P

Suuuure... Like in Skyrim? Come on...

Plus, it doesn't make any sense because after you steal his scimitars he STILL wield them.

The animation is still there but he is never actually wielding them.

Which is why they need to update him to his BG2 version...identical in every way, except his gear is actually equipped, instead of a 1d8+3 Creature weapon with a save vs death or take 45 damage and considered to have grandmastery (Like all creature weapons do).

Though I'd recommend going the whole hog and not only properly equip his gear, get rid of the extra stuff his PnP version doesn't have.

(9 less AC, 2 less thac0, 1 less attack per round, 28% less MR, remove the 30% physical resistance he has, give him ** scimitar and *** two weapon, maybe toss on an undroppable Montolio's cloak to completely remove the DW penalty rangers shouldn't have to begin with. Give him Gwen to summon when attacked by players, and the ability to drop a mass blindness or actually implement his globe of darkness ability for 1 cast/day, then he'd be legit)

Thanks for all the wonderful reasons (or excuses) to kill Drizzt and why not to. Too bad he is about to cross path with this Bhaalspawn.

    He will be missed.
