Custom Portraits & Switching PCs

I started a game on my PC with a custom portrait. I moved it over to my laptop, forgetting I had a custom portrait. It worked, but CHARNAME's portrait was a question mark. I played a bit, leveled up. When I tried to level my PC, the game crashes. I downloaded the portrait, and put it in the folder, but it didn't fix the issue. Do I have to just restart from older saves or is there a way to fix this? I tried to do it with SK, but I can't seem to find a way to do it; it only gives me two small portraits to choose from, no large versions.

    I fixed this! Cannot figure out how to do it with SK, but I copied the custom portrait into my save folder with the name "PORTRT0" (he was party leader). When I loaded the save, the portrait was still broken, but I was able to go to the Character Pane and change the portrait out.
