Using characters from Game of Thrones in a multiplayer session of BG:

A) What group would be the most fun to play?
B) What group would be the strongest/most balanced?

The King's Small Council -
Eddard Stark - Cavalier
Pycelle - Cleric
Littlefinger - Bounty Hunter
Varys - Illusionist
Renly Baratheon - Blade
Stannis Baratheon - Inquisitor

The Night's Watch -
Lord Commander Mormont - Cavalier
Benjen Stark - Stalker
Maester Aemon - Cleric
Jon Snow - Undead Killer
Samwell Tarly - Wild Mage
Yoren - Swashbuckler

Anyone else have thoughts?

    I've read the books. So, some spoilers:

    Stark children!
    Jon Snow: Fighter->Druid dual
    Bran: Sorcerer or Wild Mage
    Arya: Fighter -> Thief dual (Or MC, or straight Assassin)
    Robb: Either a Cavalier or straight Ranger
    Sansa: Skald
    Rickon: Thief->Mage dual

    That's half based on character development and half based on speculation for further developments, so if you haven't read the books, don't read that.

    It only works if everyone dies in the end.

    Pycelle is a thief
    Littlefinger a bard
    Vary's a thief/illusionist, yes he's a gnome with growth impairment.

    Wouldn't Varys be more a bard than Littlefinger?

    Hmmm, I always thought of Bran as more of a druid than an arcane caster, and snow as more of a ranger.

    The whole Night's Watch thing just screams of Ranger, as well as of Aragorn and Rangers of the Northitude.

    Night's Watch are clearly rangers, yes. Bran as druid (maybe beastmaster) makes sense, too. Sansa could be a cleric, due to her personality.
