Rated PG 18 for gory violence, nudity, and strong language.

You need to make the game attractive to the teens!

I think @mch202 nailed it. Fully agreed. Besides, 'Enhanced Edition' has aliteration.

Baldur's gate: Remastered, or 'Baldur's Gate HD' woulda worked, but enhanced edition isn't bad either.

I see where this thread is going, but I can't help but point out the definition of "Enhanced" is:
"to increase or improve in value, quality, desirability, or attractiveness"
And by that I ask you, what part of this game is not enhanced?

I'm not attempting to nitpick or anything, but how come they called it Enhanced Edition?

I mean, I don't need to live in America and have access to Walmart to say, that it sounds like the title of any gimic re-release of a game that's several years past it.

I live in New York City (also known as Half-Orc City), and we don't have any "Walmart" around these parts.

It's called "Enhanced Edition" because sober people are working on the game.

    Sober, unlike me. ;-)

Baldurs Gate: The Dread Wolf and the Level One Mage

    a short story by Bioware
    presented by Beamdog
    editted by Overhaul Games

A smart player would beat that wolf though

I think the existing title is fine. "Enhanced Edition" seems to me a pretty accurate description of what Beamdog are trying to achieve ... and with another couple of patches probably will have achieved pretty successfully.

I like honest product descriptions, rather than silly marketing hype which always ends in disappointment, and lots of other people also prefer realistic descriptions. Example: in my location, a well-known home-improvements brand gives all its products simple descriptive names and runs on the advertising slogan "It does exactly what it says on the tin!", and they've gained solid public approval with this approach.

    How about:

"Baldur's Gate: The Warg, Wizard, and Winthrops locked Chest"

Follow our protagonist as he travels from the reportedly "clean" Inn, after ahem aquiring a valuable gem, only to discover that "HE is your father" . . . . . .

    No, wait . . er . .

    Baldur's Gate: Boo Edition

I would definitely spend another 20 bucks on a version that includes an extra Giant Space-hamster race.

Imagine a dream come true: a Giant Space-hamster Bhaalspawn that vanquishes his siblings and ascends the throne of his dark father.

Bladder's Gate - the story of a young hero's epic struggle against incontinence.

Or was that the dyslectic edition...?

When you think about it, it's not all that improved over the original, is it. Sure the graphics are nicer and modding is a tad easier, but...

Slightly off topic here, but has anyone here seen the game play footage for the new Wasteland 2? It is BEAUTIFUL.

And to add relevance to this thread, "IF" there is a BG3, I really strongly recommend that they consider using the same engine as in Wasteland 2. Watch the footage and you will see why. It is absolutely a modern day take on the type of game play that we all know and love about BG-Series.
