So i bought baldurs gate and cant figure out how to update it. I didn't buy it from Beamdog so i don't know how to update it. Can i get the beamdog client and get it to update the game or do i have to rebuy the game again from beamdog in order for it to work? If i can update ill be hosting a portforwarded server that anyone can join.(which i will put in the comments)

    Since you have version 2007, you had to have bought it from Beamdog. If you don't have the client, then run the launcher; it's BGEE.exe in your Program Files (x86)\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition folder or wherever you installed it. An Apply Update button should appear; if not, click the diamond in the lower right-hand corner and choose "Repair install."

    If that doesn't work, go into your Data folder and delete 766.beam and 766.status and try again.
