I has question about genders...

What is the point of giving a forum attendee the option of selecting their gender in the account options if this is seen by no one but them? It would be nice to know when referring to someone what their gender is so I don't have to guess or say s/he or something like that.

    It's used in "X has changed his/her/their profile picture," but I agree it would be convenient to have in the profile or next to the post count.

    "Their" surely is an interesting option... I guess...

    Well... unless the profile with that option belongs to a group, or... company? I guess...

    I'm guessing there was an "other"/"prefer not to say" option when selecting gender (I don't actually remember), hence the "their".

    Better to leave those mysteries to the posterity...

    You can change your gender any time by editing your profile. There are three options: male, female, and unspecified.
