Playing on the iPad version. Just bought it yesterday.

Behaviour: No pictures of towns or villages on World Map
Expected behaviour: Pictures of towns and villages on world Map to show

    Did you just press the map button or did you walk to the edge of the area you're in?

    Thanks for the screenshot. Now I can recognize this issue - it has already been reported.
