Yeah, I am NOT going to pre-order BGII:EE or even purchase it around release date.
No disrespect to Overhaul, but I have no faith in them delivering a finished product after the release of BG:EE.
It's been around 9 months now and we still don't have the multiplayer system that was not only promised but also one of the game's biggest selling points.
It's true that it's a little strange to see them announce BG2EE android version, or a working multiplayer, when BGEE still doesn't have any of these even if they were to be released one year ago.

There is very little difference between the engine of BG2EE and BGEE. So, the "moment" something is fixed/implemented in BGEE, it is also done in BG2EE. The main difference between the two games is "simple modding data". Stuff like multiplayer, Intel chipset support is independent of this data.
