Odd lore discrepancies in BG2 (elves sleep, can't see in the dark, etc)

    Honestly, I believe the developers didn't know. I don't recall 100% but I don't believe that in the PHB, it did not specify that Elves 'reveried' instead of slept, you actually had to read excess material, The Complete Book of Elves, or the Evermeet supplement, don't remember which. It could've been glossed over.

    Sarevok says that, as said before i don't believe the devs in that time developed the D&D lore too deep in the game, but anyway after losing his grasp on main char divine essence Irenicus lose any link with the plane. When a petitioner dies outside of his god's plane they normally permanently die.
