So is this forum going to be for both BGEE and BG2EE discussion going forward?

    Well I see both BG EE and BG 2 EE logos above. So, yes... I'd guess so.

    Also, given we already discuss BG EE, BG 1 Vanilla, BG 2 Vanilla, PnP D&D, deep philosophical implications of the D&D alignment system, the logical integrity of magic in fantasy settings, other roleplaying games, other computer games, hamsters etc...

    I see this forum more as a community of people with shared interests, than a platform to discuss one particular game.

    I see all parts of the game, BG1, BG2 and both expansions as a singular game anyway, so it bothers me not.

    I just with that the devs here will eventually inplement a singular continuous play option for owners of both games.

    I think it's mostly about miniature giant space hamsters, but I must say that a lot because by this time when I do my friends hit me.

    I think that if the need for BG2EE specific sections arise they'll be created but the forum will be this one.

    My guess is a BGII general discussion section on the forums just haven't really crossed anyone's mind, and certainly not as any kind of priority if it did. Will probably pop up in the coming days though now that release has happened.
