A good walkthrough for BG2?

Hello everyone.
I finished my first running on BGEE (that was my first running at all, since I didnt played the game back then) in the last week and now I'm starting on BG2EE.
Since I work and I'm no teenager any more, and cannot dispend a lot of time discovering all the game by myself, I enjoyed the forgottenwars.com's walkthrough a lot, who enguided me in some of the more complex parts of the game.
Ok, so I tried to click on the BG2 walkthrough in the site and the link is dead. I founded walkthroughs from BG2 in GameBanshee and in Sorcerer's Place, but none of those can beat the awesomeness from that one Forgotten Wars.
Could any of you guys direct me to one walkthrough as good as that of from Forgotten Wars/Duddley Ville?
Thank you very much!

Thasarthir

ps: sry for my poor english.

Don't have a link but can generally recommend the Game Banshee material. Never needed more than that. What is missing is a guideline on what you need to do and what you can skip in the early chapters. This highly depends on your character and party and your overall strategy. Basically it largely depends on the items you want :) If you give an indication on your character, alignment etc. I can give you some hints.

These are pretty good walkthroughs for the normal content. Don't think anyone has written one for the new content yet.

I'm talking about that one: http://www.forgottenwars.com/bg1/ar2600.htm
Thats very nice, and have maps on all the areas.

None of those are as good as the one from Dudley Ville (that one got maps from all areas, all the loots from killings and chests, quantity of xp earned from each quest or killing, etc.).
But thanks anyway. In case anyone know one walkthrough from BG2 with these caracteristics, please let me know. =D

It's not as good as Dudleyville (which I loved too!) but I've been using one that I found at http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/Walkthrough. The navigation at the site is a little strange, but there's a lot of useful info there.

Yup. nothing beats the foprgotten wars/dudleyville one. Sad they never got around writing the BG2 walk through. If somebody knows of better a resource, please do share. I am currently going back and forth between Mikes RPG, Game Banshee and sorcerers.net. The dan simpson seems pretty thorough, I just wished it had pictures and links. It's a .TXT for crying out loud. Anyway, thanks for all the comments and happy holidays!

I am actually liking this one much better (than the one Absalom linked):
    http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/Walkthrough2/

It is just so much more concise.

The best one overall is here: http://mikesrpgcenter.com/bgate2/
Has the maps of all the areas, equipment library, and everything is all linked very conveniently together.

The DSimpson text one on GameFAQs is excellent as well, but is only text, and is slightly harder to navigate. BG1 is also available. New content obviously excluded.

Until you realize 20% about items is incomplete, and 50% of the bestiary is inexistent, many quests have missing variations, items have wrong locations, I really recommend playing and playing and playing, if you are searching for a guide, @Montresor_SP has one in Sorcerer's Place that is pretty nice, obviously not so good like his PS:T one, but still very good, it has all the items (he misses some +1 from SoA but those particularly suck, since you get those in chapter 7 or some from ToB, but in ToB you only pick up components and unique items :P) and a perfect guide about the Deck of Many Things (my first PC wants to complain about late finding the guide, but he got nice one anyway :P).

    Hi there,

Please see here for my Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition walkthrough playing Cleric/Ranger as Protagonist:

    http://www.scribd.com/doc/211406264/Baldur-s-Gate-2-Enhanced-Edition-Walkthrough-for-SoA-ToB-Cleric-Ranger

Includes walkthrough for Neera's quests, Rasaad's quests and Hexxat's quests in SoA only.

Party members are Jaheira, Minsc, Keldorn, Aerie and Jan -> Imoen. Neera, Rasaad, Hexxat and most other NPC's are rotated in to do their quests.

Although I strictly recommend everyone to try and play the game without a walkthrough if it's one of the very first runs, I understand there indeed can be a need of a walkthrough.

Recently I've found one of the newest walkthroughs of BG2 that takes EE quests and NPCs into consideration:

    www.gamefaqs.com/pc/663934-baldurs-gate-ii-enhanced-edition/faqs/68513

Looks like a good guide :)

@bengoshi‌ That's indeed a very good one, there's almost everything you need, but it's not very easy-to-use.
If you're looking for a specific quest it's not easy to find it in that WT.
Dan Simpson WT is less complete, but you'll find what you're looking for easily.

Today I've found a site with interesting idea of giving playthroughs: http://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/baldursg.php

It has playthroughs for BG1, BG2 and - most importantly, IWD.

The structure of each playthrough there is made so that we open it step by step, preventing us from spoilers if we don't want them.

This is an example of a playthrough for the Kuldahar Pass location in IWD: http://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/hints/iwdale/385.php For e.g., when we click on "I met an ogre with a nasty headache. What should I do with him?" a new page is opened and it has several "hints" that can be opened additionally - if you want you can open them, if not you just don't get a spoiler.

The system of introducing playthroughs on that site is not ordinary - it's refreshing and interesting.
