Killing Saverok bug

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
After I kill Saverok during the final encounter, it creates a final save, starts cenematic, then it just launches me out to the main menu. It's been doing this on some of my other playthroughs. Even if I load the final save, it just pops me right out to the main menu.

Any solutions?

    I believe that by killing Sarevok you end the game. You should complete the quests you like before killing hin.

    ...same here. It bugs me out that once I kill Sarevok, the GAME ENDS!
    Now I can't really reload and have to just re-roll.
    Oh well, at least BG2EE is already here.
