Meeting Neera in the Wild Forest

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I talked to Neera ages ago, and she said she'd meet me in the Wild Forest. I don't recall if I went and spoke to her- I don't think I did- but now when I go all she has to say are auto-response lines, no conversation. There's nothing in my quest log to point me forward. Does the quest become unable to be completed if you wait too long to get to her? Is there a way I can check and/or reset the quest to where she'll talk to me and move it along?
