Carsomyr setting MR instead of adding it

Carsomyr sets your MR to 50%, instead of adding it to whatever MR you have from other items. However, if you equip Carsomyr, and then your other MR-adding items, the MR stacks. I'm not sure if it's intended to work this way, but it seems strange, and it's not the way it worked in regular BG2.

This is quite annoying if you often change weapons, like my Kensai/Thief does, between halberd and Carsomyr.

Can anyone confirm if this is a bug, or if it's intentional?

    Equipped abilities say 50%, but not +50%. Could be an oversight. It could also be a problem with the stacking of the different items. I do not know if the set 50% is intended, that would need a comment from one of the developers. If the set 50% is intended, then the bug is in the stacking.

    I don't get credit for this one; Kevin Dorner confirmed it with Gaider for Baldurdash waaaaaay back in the day.
