Hexxat Door puzzle anyone solved it?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Anyone have the exact sequence or a work around for the damn door quest for hexxat in throne of bhaal? Because I am about as stuck as I could possibly be........

    Are you talking about the door that asks you questions?

    There is a book in the library that has the answers to the questions in it.

    You'll need to leave someone behind (to close that first door) for it to work but it worked fine for me. It just takes patience to figure out by opening and closing different doors.

    the room with the box have two doors

    then go to thhrough south door and open again the door with another hero you left behind

    (open again the first door where the group is waiting)

    when you turn off the necrotic barrer, come back (now with all the party) to the room with the large table and chairs, the way is open now
