Changing class

So my question is horribly simple. I got Neera not knowing the horrible experience wild surge was going to become. I didn't even know about wild surge, but here i am, and i can't simply rid myself of a soon to be level 5 character if there is no alternative. My question is, is it possible to use shadowkeeper to change her class to basic mage to rid myself of wild surges?

    Yes, you can do it, pretty easily too, with EEkeeper.

    I tried changing the toolkit to mage and selected none as a specialization. But she kept her spells and wild surges continued. What can i do?

    @Stormwolf64, in Keeper, make the change to regular mage, but then change her level to zero. When you go back into the game, she should light up the little plus sign to be re-leveled in the new class, and the process should reset several variables, including the one that checks for wild surges.

    Merely changing the class in Keeper without releveling the character can cause a lot of problems with variables not resetting from the original class.
