[Multiplayer] Game Crashes upon dream's videos

ItomonItomon Member Posts: 187
Current Behavior: In a multiplayer game, when CHARNAME's heritage dream triggers, all clients get a crash - but the host keeps playing. The host then can complete viewing the dream and expect clients to join back as normal.

Expected Behavior: In a multiplayer game, when CHARNAME's heritage dream triggers, either: all players may see it and then resume playing (game stays paused for video as usual), or something else that don't crash the game (i.e. disabling dream video and instead leaving a journal entry only)

(REQUEST: maybe it IS better that other characters can't see the dream, but only the information that CHARNAME rests uneasy; which may then incite roleplaying about what CHARNAME saw that others didn't.)

I just did NOT crash after a video dream being a client with only the host and me in the game. It was the second dream at day 19

Had a similar problem but was reversed. Was hosting the game and crashed when exiting the second dream video. Happened twice. Only happens in multiplayer with another player connected. Playing alone in multiplayer allowed me to view the dream without problem and then other players could join. I have the dump file if anyone wants to see it.

My friends and I also have problems upon activation of the dream. All players can see the dream, but upon clicking "done" or allowing the entire dream to play, connected players' computers completely freeze except for mouse movement. Sometimes the host is able to continue. This happens every time we attempt to play. We get around it by host connected solo, then joining the game after the dream.

Having the same problem as @tuckjeverlasting
Host and client crashing upon dream sequences. We reloaded the last quicksave, and then the dream sequence didn't trigger.
