2) I draw this simple sketches. Art of newbie , you say. But i try))) This is my Dungeon And Dragons Dark Fantasy Simple pictures.

    Speaking the truth, originaly, i have another idea...but why not? Maybe i try to draw this bloodpath to mansion through this battlefield with corpse, organs, skulls, and lonesome blades that left their warriors on this old and deadly battle while siege this Mansion under the Luna sky.

    P.S. Originaly, i thought, about Lake, and these, dots or organs, as you written - it is magical lake plants - water-lily. They are huge and magical, as the Luna rises, they make a stand for you to walk for road to Mansion...

    The first time I played BG, the surroundings just blew my mind. I had never seen anything so immersive that just beckoned you to explore :)

    This isn't my art, I had to dig through my Deviant Favs for a good 15 mins to find them but I feel that whoever drew them also felt as passionate about the textures and use of light that made Athkatla and other places come to life.

    I never did any BG art myself, I'm not sure why. I guess I was just intimidated, I can't wait to see what happens when this game comes out I'm so excited, will definitely get inspired this time around.

    Does anyone remember the extra art that came out originally? I never got to see it properly until I downloaded the BG series from GOG.com which has a whole bunch of art collected on it. That made my day, I always wanted to see a bigger version of that Imoen pic hanging upside down :)

    BG is a great source of inspiration for artworks. The Waukeen's Promenade is a very good work. Unfortunately, I dont know use Photoshop or any other drawing soft :(

    I love all the arts here, very unique in their own way. I once drawn Korax, but it seems that Imageshack killed the picutre :(

    Also, let myself to tell, that it looks as good as BG2 art. I played in BG2 only, and remember that some french painter draw all this world. Your ARTwork should be in Baldurs Gate 2! Write to the Developers!

    Guess this is related to the topic: I decided to do a Baldur's Gate request-a-thon inspired by the EE release, and was wondering if anyone here was interested? I wrote a journal entry with more info on my dA account, though the idea's pretty much just that I'll paint anything BG-related people would like to see before September 18th. If someone wants me to do their specific idea, my inbox is open! :)
